Our Approach

Community Center

Resident Community Center offering Breakfast & Dinner Daily, Laundry Facilities, Child Care, and program services. Offices and residence manager housing on the second floor plus 2 emergency homeless housing shelters.

Individual Housing

Individualized housing has consistently proven effective in transitioning homeless individuals and families to self-sufficiency. A secure, private home is foundational for building a stable future.

Family Housing

The heartbreaking reality for many homeless families is the lack of shelters that can accommodate them as a unit, often leading to forced separation. Understanding the devastating impact this has on families, we are creating seven family homes in Greenville, SC. These homes, each with 3-4 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms, will offer a safe and secure place for families to heal and rebuild their lives.

Community Garden

We are excited to establish a vibrant community garden, tended by the residents of Homes Restore: Flourishing Foundations and our neighboring community. This garden will include specialized planting beds designed for cultivating seasonal vegetables throughout the year. With the generous support of our corporate sponsors (more details to follow), we will also have a spacious greenhouse and a processing and packaging facility for residents and volunteers. We can’t wait to share our fresh produce with neighbors living in food deserts across the Upstate.

Community Features

We are committed to empowering program participants to achieve lasting success through comprehensive support. Greenville, SC’s collaborative network of organizations provides access to critical services, including job training, addiction recovery, financial and mental health counseling, trauma recovery, transportation, and legal assistance.

In addition, we will offer:

  • Entrepreneurial/Business Start Up programs
  • Incubator Kitchen, Work Shop, Processing & Packaging Areas
  • Office & Classroom availability
  • Outdoor Pavilion for events
  • On-site landscape, construction, and maintenance training from Veterans in our garden, facilities, grounds, and maintenance operations
  • Resident training for future success including regular home maintenance, basic automotive maintenance, and general life skills

It all commenced with a deeply inspiring vision imparted by the Lord. He guided me to create a community devoted to aiding the homeless, emphasizing the importance of addressing their unique needs through the provision of non-congregate housing, as well as the support and resources necessary for them to construct a hopeful and flourishing future.
